What are some example projects or experiences?
Marketing managers work in all types of rail organisations. You could find yourself developing marketing strategies to promote a major metro rail project to the general public. Or you could be producing marketing materials to attract business customers for an engineering, manufacturing, or rail consulting firm.
What is the work environment like?
You’ll work in an office, usually with a team of marketing professionals. One day you could be brainstorming ideas for a new campaign. The next you could be writing marketing content, analysing social media trends, or evaluating campaign results. You may also need to manage relationships with external parties, such as a creative agency or freelance writers or designers. Sometimes you’ll participate in meetings to take briefs or share insights. You may also be required to plan and attend workshops, conferences or events. You can find work as a marketing manager all around Australia. Most jobs are in cities and towns. Some are in remote areas.
Eligibility & pathways
